I don't have a lot of space so a 61 is best, and really the only think I've been able to find is the Nektar P6.
I was able to buy them as part of a "package" which allowed me to get controllers under 500, but now I'm only upgrading parts of the system so they have to be 500 (I didn't like the 2nd gen O圆1s anyway - not sure about the latest one). One has started to have USB problems and a key has stopped working on another (and of course, no budget for repairs).
Originally I bought Oxygen 61s and I have to say I've been extremely happy with these as they've withstood the daily use (or abuse) of students and wannabe producers. University requires me to purchase items that are $500.00 or more. Here's my situation: I have 3 MIDI Workstations at a university.
